A Word From The Author

Prior to my career in Management Rights, I gained experience in airline operations with Qantas and commercial swimming pool management with Poolwerx. My foray into Management Rights began with the acquisition of a 52-lot high rise on the Gold Coast, where I developed a hands-on approach to learning the fundamentals of the business. Subsequently, I served as managing partner for a larger 297-lot low-rise property, Turtle Beach, which was part of the most significant Management Rights purchase of the time. Within this context, I took on the task of asset management for several high-rise properties, comprising 1,200 lots and seven bodies corporate, including a 200-lot new building in Brisbane, which I managed from its construction to opening day.

Following a successful seven-year tenure in these roles, I transitioned to private consulting and training, focusing on Management Rights operations. In 2019, I accepted a role with Accor as a strata manager, overseeing a vast portfolio of over 80 properties, their associated caretaking agreements and responsibilities. This role afforded me considerable insight into the importance of strategic planning and rigorous record-keeping in achieving best practice and compliance in Building Management.

My book represents the culmination of years of experience, extensive knowledge of best practices, and a practical approach to building a successful and profitable Management Rights business.
