About Women In
The Women In platform was created in 2017 with a specific intention to provide a shared space for all women working within the strata management rights and property management and affiliated sectors. The main priority of Women In is for all members is to be provided with regular opportunities whereby they are able to network with likeminded women sharing information, innovative solutions and growing contacts in a friendly, supportive environment. Our purpose is to ensure that all members are able to access, and experience enhanced education, information and up-skilling opportunities to achieve success in their respective roles within the sectors. Women In is committed to actively engaging with the community, raising funds, and supporting initiatives that make a positive impact on the community and industry.
Meet Our Founder
Marisa Milane
With a foundation in Management Rights and considerable experience in the resorts and tourism industry acquired during her time at Freedom Internet, Marisa possesses an intimate understanding of the day-to-day challenges encountered by sector managers. Currently contributing her expertise within the IT industry at Opticomm, and the co-founder of OTTRO, a prominent training academy in the Management Rights industry, Marisa actively showcases her dedication to propelling knowledge and expertise forward in this specialised field.
Marisa has formed many strong relationships with a lot of managers and service-related businesses and is passionate about introducing more women into the industry and having access to the Women In platform. Marisa has several business interests, but she is most proud of becoming one of the first contact point when sector members require assistance.
Our Chosen Community Causes
The Tara Brown Foudation’s goal is to raise funds to upgrade and assist needy refuges and women’s shelters, and any other worthwhile DV organisations that help women and their children escape violent and controlling partners. The foundation will send funds to existing organisations that may be struggling financially and are sincerely in need of our help.
